The success of KONIGIN ISABELLA at Newton Abbot on Sunday off a mark of 89 completed a memorable weekend for our yard sponsor Geegeez.co.uk who landed the valuable Summer Plate with Sure Touch in the same colours at Market Rasen on Saturday.
In winning her second successive handicap hurdle over two and a quarter miles at the Devon track, Konigin Isabella jumped well at the head of the affairs before showing a pleasing attitude to hold the sustained challenge of Get The Value on the long run in.
She benefitted from a positive ride from Sam Twiston-Davies, travelled well on the inside rail and seems to have come of age this summer.
I’ll see how she is in the next few days before making any plans but while she is in such good form I might well keep her going over the next couple of months.
