THE DREAM RUN CONTINUES . . . . . . .

World of Dreams made the perfect start to his career with an impressive success in what looked a decent bumper at Fontwell on Friday.

He was our ninth recent winner in a terrific spell for the yard. The plan was to run two in the race but I had to withdraw Precious on the day after tests showed that her muscle enzymes were not quite right.

This left World of Dreams to fly the flag for Potwell Farm and he did us proud ridden by Rex Dingle, travelling stylishly from the start before easing into the lead on the final turn and galloping on strongly to beat Itsnotwhatyouthink by two and a quarter lengths.

World of Dreams has a nice attitude, is very straightforward and showed a bit more speed at Fontwell than I anticipated.

While not the biggest he clearly has an engine and will be a handy horse to go hurdling when the time comes. Before then we might look at a Listed bumper for him.

His owners Ron Huggins and George Tiney have been long time, loyal supporters of the yard. Ron takes a keen interest in pedigrees, has a fine record of picking up good horses at bargain prices and paid only £16,000 at the Doncaster sales for World of Dreams which looks yet another shrewd purchase.
