Glynn completed a rapid double in five days with a comprehensive victory under a 7lbs penalty at Stratford on Tuesday evening in the colours of the Owners Group.
Once it was clear that he was fine after his ready success at Newton Abbot on Friday, the race at Stratford offered the perfect opportunity for him to follow up.
For a horse aged ten, he has such a low mileage over fences and once again his jumping was fluent as he made all the running in the hands of Sam Twiston-Davies.
Glynn was recording our fifteenth winner of the season, which is by some way our best score before the end of August, as is our prize money total of £113,000.
We didn’t plan to have a busy campaign this summer. It’s just the way things have worked out.
Glynn will have a break of four or five weeks now before we look for another suitable handicap chase for him on a flat track on decent ground at around two and three-quarter miles.
Top performance! Thank you!
