GOOD LOOK CHARM maintained the fine form of our team with a pleasing winning debut at Hereford on Tuesday in the £10,000 Sky Sports Racing Virgin 535 Mares’ Maiden Hurdle .
She took full advantage of an attractive opportunity, jumped really well, and showed a good attitude by finding more when pressed by the main danger I Spy A Diva going to the final flight.
Having finished third in a bumper at Aintree before again running well in a Listed race at Huntingdon a month ago Good Look Charm has earned a little break.
Her brother won the £100,000 bumper at the Punchestown Festival and she is clearly talented too, an athletic mare who handles testing conditions and has the scope to go chasing in time.
We bought Good Look Charm at the Doncaster sales in May after she won a bumper at Sedgefield the previous December and she now runs for an enthusiastic new syndicate of our existing owners who race under the banner of Isle of Blue and White.
Several of them were involved with Solstice Son who won six races for us. I’m delighted they now have another smart one on their hands.
Err don’t forget me AH? James says I’m a non paying member of the syndicate…?
