Gore Point put in a faultless round of jumping at Newton Abbot on Friday on his way to his second success of the week.
He has been fine at home since winning nicely at Stratford on Monday so I felt it was worth rolling the dice again.
He enjoys top of the ground, was really slick over his fences on Friday and was well on top at the line in a two mile chase that offered a first prize of £7922.
It helped that Duke of Luckley set a decent pace with Sam Twiston-Davies happy to sit in his slipstream before allowing Gore Point to cruise to the front on his way to an impressive victory.
We will keep Gore Point ticking over at Potwell before he heads back to Newton Abbot either on July 13 or July 19.
