WORLD OF DREAMS doubled his score for the season with a fluent success under a penalty in the bumper at Hereford on Sunday.
He is progressing nicely and was given a good ride by our conditional Ben Godfrey who pressed on as planned at the top of the hill. It was a decisive move which quickly paid off as World of Dreams stretched clear to win by an eased down seven lengths from Waterloo Quay.
I was a bit concerned about the tacky ground beforehand and Ben reported that his mount wasn’t happy at times on the far side of the course. But he is a very straightforward horse, has a touch of speed and I was really pleased with the way he responded when asked by Ben for his effort.
The plan is to take World of Dreams to Aintree for the Grade 2 bumper at the Grand National meeting when hopefully his owners, Ron Huggins and George Tiney will be able to be there to enjoy a nice day out.
