WELL DONE TO FOUNTAINS CHIEF . . . . . .

FOUNTAINS CHIEF extended the fine recent form of our team with a clear cut success in the £8,200 Class 4 Bet Online At Betgoodwin Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell on Sunday.

A fifth winner from our last twelve runners he is progressive, rattled up a hat-trick last summer and was never seriously threatened after taking up the running at the third flight.

Fountains Chief was given a sound ride by Sean O’Briain who is good value for his seven pound claim and was winning his second race for us.

Horse and rider were clear at the final flight and kept on well to best Bluffmeifyoucan by two lengths.

Fountains Chief jumped particularly well at Fontwell and is giving his owners the Fountains Partnership plenty of fun.

As he does like fast ground he could run again quickly if we wanted him to, if a race cuts up badly, but I’d say it is unlikely as he is going to be in action again through the spring and summer.
