WINDANCE continued the fine form of our team with a narrow victory in a valuable Class 3 Handicap Chase at Wincanton on Thursday in the colours of Decimus Racing III.

He was given a positive ride by Sam Twiston-Davies who set out to make all the running at a sound tempo and saved just enough for a tight finish.

They were hard pressed all the way up the straight by Speed Flight but kept finding more on the way to achieving a highly pleasing victory by three quarters of a length.

The result helped erase the memory of a wasted trip North earlier in the week when Lilith and Good Look Charm travelled all the way to Newcastle before the meeting was abandoned because of snow on the course.

These things happen in jumps racing but it was a shame the card was lost because with only four runners declared, our duo had a great chance of adding to our scoreboard.
