5-2-Follow Final Result

With the end of the National Hunt season we can now confirm the final placings of the Anthony Honeyball 5-2-Follow competition.

Thank you to all of you who took part and I am delighted to let you know that through your contributions we have raised £370 for Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance from the 74 entries.

Following our record-breaking season – 126 runners, 36 winners (29%) plus 44 placed horses (which means 64% of runners finished in first 4) we have had some very good scores and the results have been very close. So close that we have finished with a tie.

Sharing £625.50 and joint 1st place is:

Nic Allen and Jon Hughes, both with 210 points – well done and congratulations !

For interest, their selections were as follows:

NIC ALLEN Kilconny Bridge 70
Midnight Tune 55
Acey Milan 40
Midnight Callisto 25
Wagner 20

JON HUGHES Midnight Tune 55
Kid Commando 50
Gustavian 45
Acey Milan 40
Wagner 20

3rd prize goes to Sarah Every with 205 points and she receives £69.50

At the other end of the table and the wooden spoon recipient this season, and with his stake returned, is Andy Chapman with 25 points

Thank you so much to everyone who took part and we look forward to running the same competition from October 1st.

Meanwhile, please look after yourselves and I hope things start to ease off over the summer so we can all enjoy our racing again.

Best regards
